What You’ll Do:
- Lead product design and development projects from early concept through production.
- Create, test, and refine designs while ensuring manufacturability and efficiency.
- Apply CAD expertise (Creo preferred, SolidWorks/Inventor acceptable) and FMEA processes.
- Collaborate with operations, suppliers, and technicians to deliver practical solutions.
- Partner closely with the Lead Engineer to share workload and build toward greater leadership opportunities.
- Support and guide interns or co-ops as part of the engineering team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required (Industrial Engineering considered).
- Four to five years of experience in product design and development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Creo ideal, SolidWorks/Inventor acceptable).
- Understanding of stack-up tolerances, dimensional design, and FMEA.
- Stable work history without frequent job changes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently.
- Bonus: prior experience mentoring or delegating to junior team members.
