Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of fiberglass tanks, ensuring compliance with ASTM/RTP-1 standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct engineering analysis, calculations, and material testing to validate performance and safety.
- Research and evaluate raw materials, recommending optimal processes for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, manufacturing, and quality teams from concept through production.
- Review, approve, and implement design modifications and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership to ensure manufacturability and long-term product reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree or composites/FRP certification preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years in manufacturing, including at least 3 years in production or plant management.
- Proven hands-on experience with fiberglass or composite manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, team development, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with design/engineering software.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
