Global Payroll Time & Attendance Associate

Job Summary

The Global Payroll Time & Attendance Associate supports accurate, timely, and compliant timekeeping activities across multiple countries and employee populations. This role collects and validates time data, resolves exceptions, supports time-off and attendance processes, completes payroll-related audits, and ensures approved time information is transferred accurately to payroll.

The associate partners with Payroll, People Experience, managers, Digital/HRIS teams, service centers, and external vendors to resolve issues, support system changes, and improve the colleague experience. The role also contributes to documentation, testing, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Time & Attendance Operations

• Collect, review, and validate time and attendance data according to established payroll calendars and country requirements.
• Generate time and attendance reports and prepare approved information for transfer to payroll systems.
• Review timecards for missing punches, incomplete records, incorrect schedules, pay-code issues, and other discrepancies.
• Research and resolve timekeeping inquiries and cases submitted by colleagues, managers, and business partners.
• Process approved timecard corrections and historical adjustments in accordance with documented procedures.
• Support the timekeeping and payroll impacts of short-term disability, parental leave, military leave, and other applicable leave programs.
• Support time-off balance validation and reporting across global markets.
• Monitor recurring activities and deadlines to help ensure payroll inputs are completed accurately and on time.
• Communicate via email, ticket or call to vendors, and Digital, as needed to ensure that technology, integrations, interfaces and other system components are functional.
• Respond to Tier 3 colleague inquiries, related to Time Off and Time and Attendance as referred by the HR Service Center.
• Engage in project work as assigned and collaborate with other internal stakeholders and teams to ensure testing and successful implementation of changes and automations.
• Ensure all necessary audit processes are implemented and followed to assure Sarbanes-Oxley, external and internal audit compliance.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related area and 1 year of experience in a Centralized Services role OR an Associate's degree with four years of experience.
• Knowledge and experience in Time and Attendance and payroll calculation and processing.
• Trilingual: Spanish, English and preferable Portuguese, but it could be another third language.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, controls, approval requirements, and processing deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across countries, functions, and time zones.
• Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ADP Workforce Manager, Kronos, Workday, Dayforce, ServiceNow, ADP EV6, or comparable platforms.
• Knowledge of timekeeping concepts such as schedules, punches, pay rules, overtime, premiums, holidays, accruals, and historical corrections.
• Experience with audits, reconciliation, controls, and exception reporting.
• Experience supporting system testing, implementations, or process improvements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data comparison, filtering, formulas, pivot tables, and report validation.
• Experience working in a global, regulated, or shared-services environment.
• Certified Payroll Professional, or similar professional designation.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $61,700.00 to $102,800.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in client's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
