ObjectiveThe CNC Operator produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Essential Functions

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- 2 years of CNC Machine Operation experience
- Lift up to 50lb boxes
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fast pace constantly changing environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work overtime hours
Preferred Skills
- Reading blueprints
- Proficient on a Tow Motor
- Skilled with measurement instruments: Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gages, Optical Comparators
- Ability to see small parts, burrs, radius, and handheld tools
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
