🚨 Hiring: Public Health Program Director (Hybrid) 🚨
📍 Location: Nashville, TN 37243 (Hybrid)
📅 Duration: 12 Months Contract
⏰ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST (37.5 hours/week)
We are seeking an experienced Public Health Program Director to support statewide maternal and rural health initiatives. This role will provide oversight of grant-funded programs focused on improving perinatal outcomes, expanding healthcare access in rural communities, and strengthening workforce training for emergency and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Provide oversight and technical assistance to Regional Perinatal Centers
✔ Monitor grant performance, milestones, and outcome measures
✔ Review work plans, progress reports, and performance data
✔ Support program implementation, sustainability, and quality improvement efforts
✔ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including fiscal, legal, epidemiology, and administrative partners
✔ Participate in site visits, stakeholder meetings, and statewide initiatives
Qualifications:
🔹 Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Public Health, Health Administration, or related field preferred
🔹 Experience in public health program management, grant oversight, or maternal and child health programs preferred
🔹 Experience working with rural healthcare systems, providers, or competitive grant programs strongly preferred
Additional Information:
• Hybrid work environment
• Initial onboarding and laptop deployment will be in Nashville, TN
• Periodic in-person meetings and regional travel may be required
• Travel to the Nashville office is not reimbursable
