Job Description
Position Summary
This role is within the Product Transfer team and contributes to the delivery of high-impact, cost-transformative projects.
The successful candidate will operate across a network of stakeholders from Product Transfer, Operations, and cross-functional partners. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
This is an individual contributor role that requires sound professional judgment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
What You Will Do
- Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
- Prioritize tasks and coordinate team resources to ensure effective execution and on-time project delivery.
- Evaluate and escalate changes that significantly impact project scope, budget, or timeline.
- Lead engineering projects across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Monitor progress and performance against project plans.
- Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize delays.
- Collaborate closely with counterpart project managers at partner manufacturing sites.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key project stakeholders through clear and consistent communication.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of working in a team-based environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience communicating project risks and managing stakeholder expectations across functional groups.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify innovative process improvements.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Project, including building project schedules and managing the critical path.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification.
- Engineering degree or technical engineering background.
- Experience working in an FDA-regulated or other highly regulated industry.
