Business Systems Analyst
Location: Cedar Rapids IA
Duration: 12 Months
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between business units and IT development teams.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Work in an Agile environment to develop and refine user stories.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum teams, and stakeholders to deliver system solutions.
- Develop test plans, conduct system and user acceptance testing, and support implementations.
- Analyze system issues, troubleshoot problems, and recommend process and system improvements.
- Maintain system documentation, procedures, workflows, and training materials.
- Support end users with system functionality, reporting, and database queries.
- Assist with business cases, system controls, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, or a related role.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, user story development, testing, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with database query tools, automated testing tools, workflow diagramming, and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of system documentation, process improvement, and compliance requirements such as SOX.
- Experience leading or supporting small technology initiatives.
Salary : $40 - $60
