Summary
A growing IT company is seeking an experienced ERP Manager to join their team in Torrance, CA. This pivotal role involves leading full-cycle ERP implementation initiatives while supporting presales activities and business development efforts. The ideal candidate will combine project management expertise with functional leadership to design ERP solutions that align with clients' operational and financial objectives. This position offers a dynamic career path working closely with executive leadership, offshore engineering teams, and diverse clients.
Essential Duties (Unofficial)
- Project Leadership: Lead full-cycle ERP implementation projects from discovery and design to go-live and post-launch support.
- Presales & Solution Consulting: Participate in client discovery meetings, design high-level solution architectures, and support RFP/RFI responses.
- Functional Leadership: Translate business requirements into functional ERP configurations; advise clients on best practices in Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resource allocations while managing risks.
- Team Coordination: Supervise internal ERP consultants and collaborate with offshore engineering teams to ensure quality delivery.
- Governance & Training: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide client training to ensure successful system adoption.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive adoption of the Microsoft ecosystem (Power Platform, reporting tools, etc.).
Working Hours, Working style
Monday – Friday; 9:00 – 18:00
Style: Hybrid Remote (Combination of in-office and remote work)

Salary/Benefit
$90K - 110K DOE

Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of ERP implementation and 2 years in project leadership or PM.
- Language: Business-level Japanese proficiency (Daily conversation level or above) and fluent English.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (preferred).
- Domain Expertise: Solid understanding of Finance, Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory processes.
- Global Collaboration: Experience collaborating with offshore or distributed engineering teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in IT services or ERP consulting firms.
- Experience supporting Japanese subsidiaries in the U.S.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform.
- PMP certification or equivalent.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
