Quantum Systems Inc. is a global leader in aerial intelligence and autonomous, AI-powered aerial robotics. We design, develop, manufacture and deliver eVTOL Unmanned Aircraft Systems UAS and an ecosystem of related products and services. Our business directly addresses the Defense and Security markets in North America, Asia Pacific and Latin America. We currently have an opening for a Junior Planner. This position reports to the Director of Operations.
The Junior Planner will be responsible for supporting production scheduling, material planning, and coordination across manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. This role will work closely with Production, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to ensure timely execution of build schedules and alignment with customer delivery requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availability
- Support material planning activities, including tracking shortages and coordinating with Procurement
- Monitor work order status and ensure timely release and completion of jobs on the production floor
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain) to resolve scheduling or material constraints
- Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., work orders, BOMs, lead times)
- Track key metrics such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and production throughput
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and inventory control
- Assist in preparing reports and updates for internal stakeholders and program reviews
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows
- Basic experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tracking, basic formulas, data organization)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Background check/U.S. citizenship required due to government contract requirements
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
