We are currently seeking candidates for the following position!
Purpose of Position:
The Training facilitator- Test is responsible for developing and delivering training programs to ensure that employees in Test Area roles adhere to Work Instructions (WIs), quality standards, and process requirements. This role ensures that Test Area Associates receive the necessary instruction to perform check in/out, configure switches and server swap effectively. The Training Specialist will also monitor compliance, provide coaching, and work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to maintain and improve training content.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Training Development and Delivery:
- Conduct hands-on training sessions for Test Area Associates on WIs, Check in/out, configuration switches and Server swap.
- Provide practical demonstrations on the use of testing tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques.
- Process Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that employees consistently follow WIs and process flows for testing
- Conduct periodic skills assessments to validate training effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
- Ensure adherence to calibration and maintenance schedules for testing equipment.
- Perform audits and monitor compliance, providing real-time feedback to technicians, leads and supervisor.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality Teams to ensure training aligns with current process updates.
- Identify training gaps based on reported quality issues and technician errors, adjusting training materials accordingly.
- Assist in revising WIs and process documentation based on feedback from employees and engineering teams.
- Work with engineering and production leads to ensure new or updated check in/out instructions are integrated into training programs.
- Training Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of training completion, assessments, and employee progress.
- Document and communicate training-related issues or skill gaps to Learning and Development Manager, supervisors and quality teams.
- Ensure that training records are tracked in the LMS and comply with QMS and organizational training requirements.
- Other Duties:
- Support process improvements by gathering feedback from employees and recommending enhancements.
- Provide on-the-job coaching and mentorship for new hires and employees needing refresher training.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Associate degree in relevant field or High School Diploma with relevant experience required.
- Experience:
- At least one year of experience in a technical, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Previous experience in training or mentoring roles highly desired.
- Hands-on experience with electronics repair, diagnostics, and testing is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of basic testing principles.
- Ability to interpret WIs related to area of focus.
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to adapt training styles to accommodate different learning needs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for delivering technical content.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and within teams.
- Ability to multitask and adjust to shifting priorities as process updates occur.
