Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hardware Engineer role based in La Vergne, TN. The Hardware Engineer will design, test, and validate server and data center hardware, including boards, components, and subsystems used in large-scale cloud environments. Daily responsibilities include reviewing system requirements, creating and updating hardware design documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and firmware, and executing lab tests and measurements to ensure performance, reliability, and safety standards. The role involves troubleshooting hardware issues, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions throughout the product lifecycle. The Hardware Engineer will also support new product introduction, assist manufacturing with build and test issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of hardware platforms and processes.

Qualifications
- Strong hardware design and validation skills, including experience with board-level design, schematic review, and component selection.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power measurement tools for testing and debug.
- Knowledge of server or data center systems, high-speed interfaces, power distribution, and signal integrity concepts.
- Ability to interpret specifications, engineering drawings, and test requirements, and convert them into practical hardware solutions.
- Proficiency in documenting test results, writing clear engineering reports, and maintaining design and configuration records.
- Effective collaboration skills to work closely with manufacturing, quality, firmware, and operations teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant industry or internship experience in hardware engineering, electronics manufacturing, or server hardware is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving project requirements and timelines.
