Equipment Engineer

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for managing, organizing and controlling inventory of all the production-related equipment. Also requires strong collaboration with multiple departments, including program manager, receiving team, procurement team and vendor

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Consolidate fixture demand from different departments and provide fixture list during the planning stage of the NPI.

· Contact vendor for quotation and submit PR, work with financial team to finish the EQ procurement.

· Track receiving status of equipment after purchase, report EQ arrived progress to PM team to meet the project schedule.

· Receive equipment, labeling and managing equipment asset number.

· Control and transfer equipment between different buildings for engineering teams.

· Submit orders for different teams weekly when they have EQ/tool demand, control expense and execute purchase requisition using SAP.

· Conduct routinely cycle count to make sure EQ inventory balancing.

· Track spare part / consumable part order, inventory, and cycle count.

· Obtain cost approval and initiate entire repair process when EQ is broken.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.

· Good communication skills at all levels; written, oral & presentation skills required.

· Ability to manage multiple issues at one time.

· Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Chinese language is a plus, chance to communicate with Asia.

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, supply chain or engineering related or 5 years of related working experience.

· Experience in SAP or other modern purchasing systems.

· Experience in warehouse, logistics and supply chain.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift to 30 pounds.
