Instrument Tester – Electro-mechanical Manufacturing Industry  

QUICK FACTS
  • Location: San Diego, CA 92131 (100% onsite)
  • Pay: $23/hr
  • Temp to hire
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION YOU WILL NEED
  • 3 years of experience testing and repairing instruments and mechanical assemblies
  • High School Diploma required; advanced or technical degree desirable
  • Experience with hand tools and automated testing equipment
  • Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
  • Performs routine tests of circuits, instruments and mechanical assemblies to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to determine cause of failure
  • Follows test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used
  • Perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement
  • Document test results and maintain records
