JOB SUMMARY:
Reotemp is looking for a full time Marketing Specialist for our office in Sorrento Valley, San Diego. Collaborating closely with Reotemp’s Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will efficiently organize, develop, produce and maintain Reotemp’s gamut of marketing activities, including digital and printed product literature. This mid-level role requires a proactive marketer who can bridge the gap between high-level strategy and daily execution. Candidates must be dependable, organized, detail oriented, flexible, and creative.

 

Primary Job Duties

Strategy & Content Production

  • Apply a strategic marketing mindset to the creation of all literature, graphics, emails and copy, helping to refine target markets and ensuring all materials speak directly to customer needs.

  • Translate heavy technical information into crisp, customer-friendly copy for datasheets, catalogs, and web platforms that clearly highlights Reotemp's value propositions and competitive differentiators.

  • Utilize generative AI text models to ideate and solve marketing problems.

Sales Enablement & Brand Management

  • Collaborate with the sales team to turn real-world feedback into highly effective marketing collateral that directly support customer needs and specific target markets.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to update, refine and communicate Reotemp’s core marketing message inside and outside the organization. This includes Reotemp’s unique positioning, value proposition and brand promise.

  • Join field visits and trade shows to learn customer environments, business contexts, and the sales process firsthand.

  • Prepare and present marketing support tools for our sales team and distributors.

  • Strengthen the Reotemp brand by ensuring all logos, copy, colors and branded materials conform to Reotemp style guidelines.

  • Coordinate purchasing and inventory levels of promotional materials in our merch cart.

  • Collaborate with Sales on distribution strategy, outreach plays, and pipeline acceleration; enable reps with collateral and talk tracks based on real-world feedback.

Digital Marketing & Automation

  • Build and coordinate automated marketing emails and social media posts to keep Reotemp top-of-mind with customers.

  • Maintain the website via Wordpress; ensuring all text, photos, videos, pdfs, drawings, etc are attractive, accurate, and easy to access.

  • Assist in the management of product copy and photos in our various web platforms.

Content & Literature Production

  • Produce and maintain Reotemp marketing materials and product literature using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud software.

  • Work with product managers, engineers and contractors in the creation and distribution of new marketing materials including but not limited to datasheets, product packaging, product photos, catalogs, videos, case studies, product instructions, product guides, and stickers.

  • Create and execute marketing campaigns that leverage our distributor network to amplify messaging, providing channel partners with the assets and strategy to drive demand in their local territories.

  • Utilize generative AI text models (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT) to assist in drafting and refining copy while strictly ensuring adherence to the Reotemp brand voice.

  • Ensure all literature IDs are appropriately updated and literature follows the required approval process.

  • Help maintain, control and organize the marketing source files library.

Project & Event Management

  • Take ownership of all literature and tradeshow projects and maintain project tracking in our project management software.

  • Manage end-to-end trade show logistics and planning for 4-5 tradeshows each year.

  • Coordinate customer engagement and reward program marketing projects.

 

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally in a B2B or manufacturing environment.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.

  • Strong digital literacy, including a foundational understanding of SEO and modern digital marketing trends.

  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

  • Experience building automated workflows in an email marketing platform similar to Mailchimp.

  • Experience with a web content management platform similar to WordPress.

  • Eye for design, marketing, and content development.

  • Above average communication skills in order to understand and acquire clarifying information when receiving work tasks and assignments.

  • Strong interpersonal skills dealing with all levels of employees.

  • Personal organization skills in order to multitask more than one concurrent task or project.

  • Attention to quality and detail in order to produce attractive, well constructed and error free work.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
