Payroll Adminstrator

Quality Services Moving is looking for a Payroll Administrator to keep our bi-weekly payroll accurate, on time, and compliant. You’ll work with our time records, payroll data, and QuickBooks every cycle, and you’ll be the person employees trust when they have a question about their pay. This role suits someone early in a payroll, accounting, or bookkeeping career who wants hands-on training and room to grow into a larger role.

What You’ll Do

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule, with guidance and training from our team
• Review and verify employee time records, and resolve discrepancies before payroll closes
• Prepare payroll adjustments, corrections, and recurring reports
• Maintain organized payroll files and supporting documentation
• Support payroll reconciliations, audits, and month-end close activities
• Apply company payroll policies and applicable wage-and-hour regulations
• Answer employee payroll questions promptly, clearly, and professionally
• Handle sensitive compensation data with complete confidentiality

What You Bring

• QuickBooks experience (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or a degree in accounting, business, or a related field is a plus
• Up to one year of experience in payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative work (internships and academic experience count)
• Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to getting the numbers right
• Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to meet recurring deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
• A willingness to learn, take direction, and solve problems on your own initiative

Nice to Have

• Experience with QuickBooks Payroll, Paycom, ADP, or a similar payroll system
• Basic knowledge of payroll practices or wage-and-hour rules
• Bilingual proficiency
