What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home health intake assistance/insurance veification coordinator position at Quality Life Services?
Responsibilities and Duties
- Run insurance verifications on new admissions and monthly
- communication with physician office for health care orders
- Monitoring of documents for new admissions
- Review of new referrals
- Input new referrals
- Assist with initial staff scheduling
- Comply with all new and current policies and procedures of QLS
- Assist with follow up on denied claimed
- Work with administrative/team managers in order to improve the quality of services through on-going studies of existing services, and needs assessment for improvement and revisions
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate from an accredited high school or college/university
- Adaptable to change
- Work well with billing team
- Work well with admission director
