RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on building systems and equipment (e.g., doors, locks, lighting, fixtures).
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues.
- Prep and paint walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces as needed.
- Repair drywall, patch holes, sand, and finish for clean appearance.
- Assist with or lead light construction projects such as installing flooring, cabinetry, partitions, or fixtures.
- Modify or update facility spaces as directed (e.g., converting offices, updating finishes).
- Receive, prioritize, and complete work orders or project tasks in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate project timelines, materials needed, and progress with supervisors or managers.
- Travel between multiple company locations as needed to complete work.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at each job site.
- Ensure work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
- Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of hands-on experience in general maintenance, carpentry, painting, light remodeling, or similar work
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, and finish work
- Current Driver’s license, in good standing
- Experience in long-term care helpful, but not required
