Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust automated processes for optimal performance.
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to support equipment upgrades or facility modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general repairs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Supervise or collaborate with team members on large projects or complex repairs, demonstrating leadership and customer service skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters.
- Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting for minor repair projects.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their programming or troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately.
- Prior experience supervising or leading maintenance teams is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork.
