Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high cleanliness standards
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing to preserve the integrity and appearance of various flooring types
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed diligently to promote a healthy environment for residents or guests
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing specific cleaning requests and responding promptly to client needs
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Execute carpet cleaning and upholstery maintenance using appropriate equipment and techniques to extend the lifespan of furnishings
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures and safety standards in cleaning practices
- Ability to perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience with laundry operations and handling various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and carpet extractors
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning motions throughout the day
