Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all spaces are spotless and inviting.
- Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries regarding housekeeping services.
- Assist in laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills in housekeeping management and industrial cleaning techniques.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff members.
- A background in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous but not required.
