What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Assistant position at Quality Care @ Home, LLC?
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide personal care and support to individuals in residential settings or community-based environments. Monitor and document client behavior and overall health status while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including medication reminders and patient observation. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties as needed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, team members, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Preferred Experience & Skills: (NOT REQUIRED)
First Aid and CPR certification
Experience as a DSP, caregiver, or similar direct care role
Background in home health, patient care, group homes, or nursing homes
Familiarity with medication protocols and memory care techniques
Required Status and Skills
Must have a valid driver's license
Must pass a criminal background check
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative care team.
Strong patient monitoring skills with the ability to recognize changes in client behavior or health conditions
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
Familiarity with meal preparation and cooking for individuals with dietary restrictions or preferences
Understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in client care

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
