Join our team as a Personal Care Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be instrumental in providing crucial support to clients, ensuring their comfort, independence, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support clients with mobility and transfers utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment
- Administer prescribed medications following healthcare professionals' instructions
- Prepare and serve meals tailored to clients' dietary requirements and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping duties including organizing living spaces and managing laundry
- Monitor and promptly report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the relevant healthcare providers
- Cultivate a nurturing environment that enhances clients' emotional well-being
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role is advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with fundamental caregiving methods and protocols
- Proficient communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and medical staff
