Since 1972 Qualicoat Inc. has been a quality applicator of decorative and functional coatings to plastic and metal substrates. We are a leading supplier to companies in the sheet-metal, machining, computer, electronics, office equipment, medical, defense and die casting industries. Qualicoat Inc. also engages in the reconditioning of office equipment, sub-assemblies, silk screening, and pad printing.
The main objective of the Estimator is to determine labor rates and material costs in order to fulfill customer requests for quote. Develop processes for jobs that meet customer specifications at a profit to Qualicoat.
Job Duties:
- Establish quote priorities based on evaluation and analysis of overall opportunities.
- Work with suppliers to acquire raw material pricing for estimates.
- Investigative and research, necessary information through, but not limited to; phone contacts, customers, suppliers, fellow employees, catalogues, and internet web sites to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Recommend processes, coatings, and tooling concepts to customers.
Skills:
- Strong computer knowledge: Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) internet and MS Outlook e-mail is required
- Experience with Epicor MRP software is a plus, but willing to train
- Extensive blueprint reading experience is a must
- Successful candidates must be excellent communicators
- Possess strong attention to detail
- Display good business ethics
- Self-driven and a can-do attitude
- Basic math skills
Education/Experience:
- Associate Degree, High School Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of experience in estimating or engineering related field is required
- LEAN manufacturing, process improvement, and 5S concepts experiences is preferred.
Background check, physical, and drug screen are required prior to employment.

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
