Job Description
In this role, you will:
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Solicit and compare subcontractor and vendor pricing
- Analyze proposals and ensure complete and accurate bids
- Assist with budgets, forecasting, and preconstruction planning
- Support value engineering and cost‑saving initiatives
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and leadership
The Successful Applicant
You'll Excel If You Bring
- 3 years of estimating experience in Building and Construction
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market pricing
- Experience with estimating software (Bluebeam, OST, ProEst, etc.)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
