D365 Business Central Support Specialist
Location: Pennsylvania (Onsite, 5 days per week)
Salary: Up to $120,000 USD

As the D365 Business Central Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day ERP support across production, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams. You’ll work closely with operations leadership, troubleshoot functional issues, support system enhancements, and ensure users get the most from the platform. Your understanding of food production workflows will be useful in helping the business streamline compliance‑driven processes, improve visibility, and enhance efficiency across the plant. This is a key onsite role within a fast‑moving, growth‑oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to Business Central users across production, inventory, quality, and manufacturing
- Troubleshoot functional issues, diagnose root causes, and implement timely solutions
- Monitor system performance and escalate technical issues when necessary
- Assist with configuration changes, testing, workflow adjustments, and minor enhancements
- Support production scheduling, batch management, lot tracking, recipe/BOM updates, and related manufacturing modules
- Ensure accurate data entry, master data maintenance, and transaction integrity
- Partner with production supervisors, plant operations, and supply chain teams to understand on‑floor challenges
- Deliver training to new users and provide ongoing coaching to strengthen adoption
- Document system processes, user guides, and standard operating procedures
- Recommend improvements to workflows, reporting, and everyday ERP usage
- Support new projects, upgrades, and system improvements as the business expands
- Help align Business Central functionality with food‑industry regulatory needs
What You Bring
- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV)
- Strong understanding of food production and food manufacturing processes would be useful
- Knowledge of modules such as: Manufacturing, Production Orders, Quality/Compliance, Inventory & Warehousing
- BOMs, Recipes, Routing, Lot Tracking
- Ability to diagnose issues and support users in a plant/manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with operations teams
- Experience with data accuracy, master data, and process controls
- A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with strong follow‑through
