Pay Range: $35/hr - $40/hour. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule: 12hrs Day Shift
• Set up sterile surgical trays, instruments, and equipment for a variety of trauma and general surgery cases.
• Assist surgeons and RNs during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and supplies under sterile technique.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain a sterile field throughout operations.
• Prepare patients for surgery including skin prep and draping.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures.
• Assist with room turnover, restocking supplies, and instrument sterilization.
• Respond to Level 1 trauma activations with speed and precision.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams in a highstress, fastpaced environment.
• Participate in oncall rotation, weekends, and holidays as scheduled (no block scheduling).
• Consistent day shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week plus call, weekends, and holidays

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; Surgical Technologist, CST, Operating Room, Level 1 Trauma, BLS, Sterile Technique.
• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an operating room setting
• Level 1 Trauma experience (required)
• Previous travel assignment experience (required)
• High skill set rating with strong references
• Burn experience (preferred)
• Ability to work day shifts (6:45am – 7:15pm) with call, weekends, and holidays
• No block scheduling – must be flexible
• Both local and travel candidates considered (no radius restriction for locals)
• Mastery of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Strong knowledge of trauma, general, and specialty surgical procedures
• Excellent communication and anticipation skills under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a highperforming team
• Calm, focused, and efficient in emergency trauma situations
• Commitment to patient safety and infection control
