Summary/Objective
The Maintenance Manager is accountable for the safety, leadership and culture of the department. Ensure the effective and efficient use of people, time and materials to deliver world-class equipment reliability across our industry, leading LVL manufacturing operations.
Lead a team of Millwrights, Electricians, Controls Engineers and storeroom.
Build and develop the team for the future.
Lead capital investment projects.
Support and engage with quality, production and all other departments as applicable to deliver objectives.
Essential Functions

- Accountability for the safety, reliability and maintenance of the entire facility.
- Provide positive leadership and guidance as part of Plant Leadership team.
- Ensure compliance of all applicable standards, programs. Safety, Environmental, Quality, PM’s, SOP’s, Manufacturing procedures and goals.
- Identify critical spares and manage storeroom.
- Lead and support Capex planning and project execution.
- Maintain relationships with key vendors, contractors.
- Ensure cost efficiency and budget control.
- Establish job priorities and expectations.
- Identify training needs and provide the maintenance skills and training required.
- Finalize the planning and scheduling of jobs (Maintenance department)
- Root cause evaluations. Asses any cost overruns and interruptions.
- Prompt and fair handling of personnel issues.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Education And Experience
- Successful team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Managing safety in an operations environment
- Managing and organizing numerical production information with computers
- Controls experience (4-5 years preferred)
- Supervisory experience (4-5 years preferred)
- Maintenance experience (4-5 years preferred)
- Associate’s degree in electrical or 5 years of equivalent experience
Must be eligible to work in the United States

Salary : $95,000 - $140,000
