Signature Maintenance is a growing property management company looking for a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our residential & commercial properties safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a supportive team.
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across residential properties
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, flooring, and carpentry issues
- Complete unit turns efficiently and with attention to detail
- Respond to maintenance requests and occasional emergency calls in a timely, professional manner
- Conduct property inspections and identify preventative maintenance needs
- Communicate clearly with the maintenance team, property managers, and residents
- Maintain accurate work orders and documentation
- Perform custodial duties in common areas
- Monitor building systems (fire, water, pumps, etc.)
- Coordinate with outside vendors when needed
- Participate in on-call rotation, as required
What We’re Looking For
- 1 years of maintenance experience (property management or multi-family experience preferred)
- Strong general maintenance skills with the ability to work independently
- Experience with workorders & time tracking apps (Appfolio and Work Yard preferred)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and a reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of indoor/outdoor environments
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
