Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production teams on the assembly line, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor manufacturing processes, interpret technical drawings and production documents to ensure accurate assembly and mechanical operations.
- Utilize measuring instruments and power tools to verify product specifications and maintain quality control throughout the production cycle.
- Manage manual handling and heavy lifting tasks safely, following strict safety standards in production environments.
- Conduct regular safety audits, enforce safety standards, and promote a culture of safety protocol adherence among team members.
- Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Oversee forklift operation and warehouse activities, ensuring proper handling of materials and inventory management.
- Train, motivate, and manage production or assembly teams to meet daily targets while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Experience
- Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production management.
- Hands-on experience with assembly line operations, mechanical assembly, and interpreting technical drawings or manufacturing documentation.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and manual handling techniques required for precise manufacturing tasks.
- Previous experience managing production teams in a manufacturing facility environment with a focus on safety standards in production.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices, process improvement strategies, and safety protocol adherence is highly desirable.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with technical proficiency necessary for overseeing complex manufacturing activities.
