Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records and ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will handle various accounting tasks, maintain confidentiality, and utilize financial software to support our organization’s financial health. This role involves working with spreadsheets, managing accounts receivable and payable, and performing data entry and bookkeeping duties to maintain precise financial records.
Duties
- Prepare, review, and maintain financial spreadsheets to track income, expenses, and other financial data
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections
- Oversee accounts payable functions, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers
- Perform accurate data entry related to financial transactions and recordkeeping
- Conduct bookkeeping activities to ensure all financial records are up-to-date and accurate
- Handle confidential financial information with integrity and discretion
- Utilize accounting and finance experience to support month-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting
- Operate financial software systems for recording transactions, generating reports, and maintaining accounting records
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in working with spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting purposes
- Experience managing accounts receivable and payable processes
- Skilled in data entry with high attention to detail
- Background in bookkeeping with familiarity in maintaining accurate financial records
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Experience using financial software applications relevant to accounting tasks
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
