Sales Rep - Business Developer – Commercial Construction (Outdoor Environments)
This is a high-impact, field-based sales role focused on driving new business within the commercial construction and development space. You’ll work directly with general contractors, developers, architects, and project stakeholders to identify upcoming projects and bring large-scale outdoor landscape solutions to life.
This is a true hunter role with full-cycle responsibility—from prospecting and relationship development through bid, close, and transition to operations.
What you’ll do:
- Identify and pursue new commercial construction opportunities in your assigned territory
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, and design partners
- Develop early-stage project pipeline through proactive outreach and networking
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and bid responses for large-scale commercial projects
- Lead solution-based sales conversations focused on value, design, and execution
- Manage opportunities through full sales cycle using CRM tools
- Collaborate closely with operations, finance, and design teams to ensure successful delivery
What we’re looking for:
- 2 years of B2B outside sales experience (hunter mentality required)
- Experience working with or selling into commercial construction, development, or contractor environments strongly preferred
- Strong relationship-building skills with decision makers and influencers
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple active opportunities
- Self-starter with strong organization and pipeline discipline
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary
