Role: Med Surg/Tele RN responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry, administer medications, prepare patients for procedures, document care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage multiple patients, ensure safety and infection control, advocate for patients, facilitate discharge planning, and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience, valid RN license, current BLS certification, strong clinical skills, critical thinking, excellent communication, physical ability to assist with equipment, and ability to work under pressure.
Key Duties: Explain procedures to patients, monitor and report patient status, collaborate on care plans, manage patient safety, and perform additional assigned tasks within scope of practice.
