Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures based on physician orders and safety guidelines.
- Prepare, position, and explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate imaging equipment, monitor image quality, and document findings properly.
- Assist with patient transport and workflow coordination for efficient operations.
- Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure and report safety concerns.
- Support departmental quality initiatives and compliance with policies.
- ARRT registered or eligible; BLS certification within 30 days; active NDMIRTBE license.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
- Experience in patient positioning and technique adjustment.
- Skills in operating diagnostic equipment, hospital information systems, and effective communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
