What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse - Flex Unit position at Provident Behavioral Health?
Role: Registered Nurse responsible for assessing patients, developing care plans, documenting and evaluating care, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment. Collaborates with departments to facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges, while engaging with patients, families, and healthcare providers to address physical, psychosocial, and discharge planning needs. Participates in department goals, staff development, and program evaluation. Supervises patient care within budget constraints and serves as a role model for staff and students.
Qualifications: Nursing degree, current Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and CPI certification within 90 days. Preferred experience includes psychiatric care and knowledge of abnormal psychology and therapeutic systems.
