Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in physical education, Bible studies, and health that align with curriculum standards and educational regulations
• Develop innovative lesson plans incorporating learning technology and instructional modifications tailored to various learning styles and student needs
• Manage classroom responsibilities effectively, ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment conducive to active participation and learning
• Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and performance evaluations; provide constructive feedback to support growth
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum implementation, instructional strategies, and educational technology integration to enhance overall teaching effectiveness
• Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities through regular updates
• Mentor students on personal development topics such as childhood development, behavior management, and character building while fostering spiritual growth through Bible instruction

Experience

• Proven high school or middle school teaching experience with a focus on physical education, health sciences, or religious studies
• Demonstrated ability to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with special education needs
• Strong background in curriculum development for PE, Bible studies, and health courses including lesson planning and instructional modifications
• Familiarity with educational compliance standards such as the Chicago Manual of Style (for written materials), AP style (for communication), and standardized testing protocols
• Experience utilizing educational technology tools for instruction and assessment purposes; proficiency in library services is a plus
• Previous roles involving sports coaching or physical education instruction that highlight leadership skills in mentoring and classroom management
• Knowledge of childhood development principles combined with expertise in literacy education, creative writing, public speaking, and behavior management techniques
