- Design and analyze structural systems for new and existing buildings.
- Perform structural calculations and load analysis.
- Develop structural design solutions for building projects.
- Prepare structural permit drawings, details, and documentation.
- Work with architects and MEP engineers on multidisciplinary design teams.
- Design structures using concrete, steel, masonry, and wood.
- Review building codes and ensure designs meet applicable requirements.
- Assist with inspections and evaluations of existing structures.
- Support renovation and structural remediation projects.
- Coordinate structural drawings with architectural and MEP plans.
- Prepare accurate CAD drawings and structural details.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, architects, and engineering teams.
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and safety throughout project development.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of structural engineering experience preferred.
- Building design experience strongly preferred.
- Experience developing structural permit drawings.
- Experience working with architects and MEP engineers.
- Knowledge of structural design using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
- Proficiency with CAD and structural analysis software.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and engineering standards.
- Strong structural calculations and analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- EIT or PE preferred.
- Experience with inspections, assessments, or remediation is a plus.
- US citizenship or Green Card required.
- Work visa sponsorship is not available.
