Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (New Graduates Accepted) - Mill Valley, CA
Job Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (40 hours/week); No weekends or on-call duties
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated SLPA to provide individualized speech, language, and feeding/swallowing therapy for children from birth through young adulthood. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting children's communication development through evidence-based interventions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Deliver speech, language, and feeding/swallowing therapy under SLP supervision.
Implement and document therapy sessions in accordance with treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely client records, including SOAP notes and progress updates.
Collaborate with supervising SLPs, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Communicate effectively with parents and assist with scheduling as needed.
Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and professional development.
Adhere to ethical standards, professionalism, and confidentiality guidelines.
Qualification, Licensure, and Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Active California SLPA License or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship licensure.
Pediatric experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork, organization, professionalism, and passion for working with children, particularly in feeding and swallowing therapy.
