Registered Nurse(RN) - Neonatal ICU

🍼 Registered Nurse - NICU (Level III/IV)

Location: University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA

Contract: 13 Weeks | Start Date: August 4, 2025

Shift: Nights (3x12s - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

Pay Rate: $52/hr

🔹 Requirements

• License: VA or Compact (can submit with pending license)
• Experience: 2 years Level III NICU (Level IV preferred)
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certificate (required - can submit pending)
• Floating: Required to L&D, Postpartum, PICU, Peds
  
  

🔹 Skills Required (Hard Stop)

• High Frequency Ventilation (HFOV/HFJV)
• Ventilator Management (CPAP/BiPAP, iNO)
• Whole Body Cooling (Arctic Sun)
• IV Fluids & Drips, Med Calculations
• Tracheostomy, Chest Tubes, Ostomy Care
• Umbilical Line, PICC, LP, Intubation Assistance
• Lab Draws, ABG Interpretation
  
  

🔹 Unit Details

• Unit: NICU - 54 Beds
• Ratios: ICU 1:1-1:2 | Stepdown 1:3
• EMR: Epic (preferred)
• Patient Population: Neonates, Infants (prematurity, RDS, cardiac, neurologic, genetic conditions)
