The Psychotherapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patients' mental health and well-being while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding standards.
- Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and other evidence-based approaches.
- Provide individual, group, family, and crisis intervention sessions tailored to patient needs.
- Manage cases involving trauma, PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, chronic pain management, and behavioral health issues.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field Licensed or license-eligible in Alaska (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD)
- Experience with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
