Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and monitor effectiveness.
- Provide supportive psychotherapy when appropriate.
- Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and primary care providers.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide crisis intervention and coordinate referrals when necessary.
Adults, Children & Adolescents, and Geriatric patients.
Common conditions include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active or eligible state medical license.
- DEA registration required.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology.
- Outpatient clinic setting.
- 4-5 clinic days per week.
- Limited telephone call.
- In-person, hybrid, or telepsychiatry options may be available.
- Total annual compensation plus sign-on bonus.
