Location: Fort Atkinson, WI

Practice Setting: Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic

Schedule: 4-5 Clinic Days per Week | Limited Call

Job Summary

We are seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join a well-established outpatient behavioral health clinic in Fort Atkinson, WI. The physician will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and monitor effectiveness.
• Provide supportive psychotherapy when appropriate.
• Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and primary care providers.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate referrals when necessary.
  
  

Patient Population

Adults, Children & Adolescents, and Geriatric patients.

Common conditions include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active or eligible state medical license.
• DEA registration required.
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology.
  
  

Schedule & Work Environment

• Outpatient clinic setting.
• 4-5 clinic days per week.
• Limited telephone call.
• In-person, hybrid, or telepsychiatry options may be available.
