Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' pelvic health conditions through detailed evaluations using advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including:
- Therapeutic exercises
- Trigger point therapy
- Orthopedic and pelvic-focused physiotherapy techniques
- Educate patients on pelvic floor muscle function, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies to support long-term wellness
- Conduct therapy sessions for diverse populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedic patients, and individuals recovering from surgery or injury
- Perform specialized interventions to optimize functional recovery and patient outcomes
- Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions across care settings
- Accurately document evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Specialization or certification in pelvic health preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to pelvic health and musculoskeletal systems
- Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive, individualized care plans for patients of all age groups
- Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient documentation and patient management
- Experience with discharge planning and care coordination across hospital and community settings
