Job Summary
The Podiatric Surgeon will be responsible for performing surgeries, treating various foot and ankle conditions, conducting biomechanical assessments, prescribing orthotics, and managing diabetes-related foot issues.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and lower extremities.
- Perform surgical procedures to correct deformities or injuries.
- Prescribe medications, orthotics, and physical therapy as needed.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and lab results.
- Develop post-operative care plans and monitor recovery.
- Educate patients on foot health, hygiene, and preventive care.
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree and completion of a Podiatric Surgical Residency program
- Experience in Biomechanics and Orthotics
- Knowledge of Diabetes and its impact on foot health
- Board certification in Podiatric Surgery
- Valid State License
- Must be ABFAS eligible/qualified
- PTO, health/disability/malpractice insurance.
