Roles And Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed physical therapy treatments as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and sports-related conditions
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual techniques, and modalities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 patient visits per week (10-12 patients per day)
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Foster a positive and supportive patient experience
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Virginia PTA license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care

- Minimum 1 year of experience required for travel roles
