Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the estimation and management of commercial and industrial HVAC projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, negotiating contracts, and overseeing project execution to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and budget adherence. Duties

• Develop comprehensive HVAC project estimates utilizing construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam, ensuring accuracy in pricing and scope.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents thoroughly to determine project requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Manage all aspects of project execution including scheduling, cost control, procurement, and quality assurance.
• Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, design specifications, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly and keep projects on track.
• Prepare detailed project proposals, budgets, change orders, and progress reports for stakeholders.
• Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration across project teams.
• Implement effective cost control measures to maximize profitability without compromising quality or safety.
• Ensure all projects adhere to contractual requirements and legal regulations related to construction management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on HVAC systems; familiarity with HeavyBid is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles including scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
• Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety protocols and site logistics.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam software for document markup and collaboration; experience with other digital tools is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills-both written and verbal-to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
