Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive oral examinations and assess dental health
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting teeth, gums, and oral cavity
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Perform restorative procedures: fillings, crowns, bridges, basic prosthetics
- Conduct routine extractions and minor oral surgical procedures
- Provide preventive care: cleanings, fluoride, sealants, oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Interpret dental radiographs and diagnostic imaging
- Maintain accurate patient records in EDR system
- Coordinate care with specialists and healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA standards
- Participate in quality improvement and continuing education
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- California Dental License (active & unrestricted)
- DEA Registration (or eligible)
- BLS/CPR Certification & NPI Number
- Eligible for Medicare, Medi-Cal & Partnership HealthPlan credentialing
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- New grads accepted
- GPR/AEGD preferred but not required
- Experience in outpatient/community health preferred
