We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to provide quality patient care, implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and support patients in achieving their functional goals.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to provide quality patient care, implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and support patients in achieving their functional goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises, mobility, transfers, and other therapeutic activities.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
- Provide patient and caregiver education.
- Perform therapeutic modalities and treatments within the scope of practice.
- Measure range of motion, vital signs, and other patient responses.
- Assist with fitting orthopedic braces and supportive devices.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Kansas PTA license or compact license.
- New graduates are welcome to apply!
- SNF experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Monday-Friday
- Full-Time
- Flexible scheduling between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
- Employee can set their preferred hours based on patient needs.
- Option for a non-traditional schedule, including working one weekend day in exchange for a weekday off.
