Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive disability assessment examinations for Veterans.
- Review medical records and relevant clinical documentation prior to evaluations.
- Obtain medical histories and perform appropriate physical assessments.
- Document clinical findings accurately using a secure electronic platform.
- Complete detailed evaluation reports in accordance with established guidelines.
- Evaluate approximately 2-6 Veterans per day.
- Maintain professional, compassionate, and respectful interactions with Veterans.
- Utilize provided technology, training, and ongoing clinical support.
- Work independently while maintaining accuracy, quality, and timely completion of documentation.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Iowa (IA).
- 1-2 years of clinical experience required.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage scheduled evaluations efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review and interpret medical records.
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and computer-based documentation systems.
