Position Summary: The Emergency Room Nurse Manager (RN) provides clinical and operational leadership. Reporting to nursing leadership, this role is responsible for overseeing patient care delivery, staff performance, and departmental operations while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide leadership in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care & safety initiatives
•Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
•Manage staffing, scheduling, and departmental resources in a fiscally responsible manner
•Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
•Promote a culture aligned with organizational mission, vision, and values
•Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes
•Support and mentor nursing staff to enhance clinical performance and engagement
Job Requirements:
•At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department management experience in an Acute Care setting- Required
•Active Missouri RN License or Compact RN License- Required
•BLS and ACLS certifications are required upon hire
•ENPC, TNCC, ATCN, or PALS required upon hire or within 1 year of hire
