Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SLPs and SLPAs
- Provide supervision, coaching, and support for clinician growth
- Drive team engagement, accountability, and performance
- Establish and maintain high clinical care standards
- Oversee documentation quality, compliance, and best practices
- Ensure consistent delivery of evidence-based pediatric speech therapy
- Partner closely with OT and PT leadership
- Support integrated care planning and collaborative treatment models
- Support recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new clinicians
- Help develop staff orientation and performance expectations
- Build a strong clinical leadership pipeline
- Work closely with leadership on clinic growth and expansion
- Help strengthen the speech therapy program structure
- Support workflow improvements and operational success
- Build a strong, positive, and growth-focused team culture
- Promote professional development and clinician retention
- Foster collaboration and leadership development within the team
- 20-30% Direct Treatment
- 70-80% Administrative, leadership, and supervision responsibilities
Licensure & Certification
- Active California SLP license
- Must have held California licensure for at least 2 years
- Must hold or obtain CPR certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience required
- Prior experience leading or mentoring speech therapy teams strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable supervising SLPs and SLPAs
- Strong pediatric clinical background required
