This role involves conducting psychiatric and behavioral assessments for clinical trial participants, ensuring accurate data collection, protocol compliance, and high-quality research outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct standardized psychiatric and CNS assessments, including symptom severity scales and cognitive evaluations
- Review and analyze clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and protocol compliance
- Monitor participant progress, behavioral observations, and adverse events throughout clinical trials
- Record and maintain patient data using electronic and paper-based systems
- Collaborate with investigators, project managers, and research staff to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and ICH-GCP guidelines
- Assist in training new team members on rating scales, assessment procedures, and documentation practices
- Coordinate participant visits, assessments, and study-related activities
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Contribute to the successful execution of psychiatric and CNS clinical research studies
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with mental health populations
- CRC Certification, BSN, Master's Degree, Foreign MD, Ph.D., or Psy.D. in Psychology or related discipline
- Prior scale certification
- Previous clinical research experience
- Experience administering psychiatric and behavioral rating scales
